Cyan invests in ISO 12647

If you've ever wondered why your print jobs look different every time, or why different printers can print exactly the same job with very different results, then you are not alone!

Here at Cyan Group one of our key points is colour consistency from job to job, month to month and year to year, no matter what printing methods are being used. There is now an ISO standard for colour accuracy that many of our key suppliers are achieving, but not content with relying on this, we have installed our own ISO colour proofing system that will produce colour accurate proofs for all your jobs that you can approve in person and we can then match your printed job to.

Proofs are printed using the latest Epson proofer with 9 ink cartridges and certified paper to guarantee they are the most accurate proofs available. Each proof is then scanned using a state-of-the-art laser scanner linked to a dedicated computer with ISO colour software that will PASS or FAIL the proof so we know that it is correct to the strict tolerances of the ISO colour standard.

These proofs are what we will achieve with the finished printed job, but once a job has been printed we scan the final sheets as well to ensure the colour is correct on these too and that the 50,000 leaflets you ordered all look EXACTLY like the proof you approved! And will look the same next month, or even next year.
