The offer

Bespoke packaging, made to a specification.

Presentation boxes, printed packaging, campaign kits and structural packaging built for a specific product and a specific job. Cyan handles structure, materials, print, finishing and the packing that follows.

One brief, one team, one point of accountability — from first prototype to packed delivery.

Development

From concept to prototype to packed delivery.

Cyan develops packaging around the product itself — structure, protection, presentation, inserts, print finish and the practical realities of packing and fulfilment.

Packaging questions

What types of bespoke packaging can Cyan produce?

Presentation boxes, campaign kits, product cartons, inserts and fitments, printed sleeves and wraps, and fulfilment-ready packs. Format, materials and finish are specified per project.

Can branded packaging be combined with merchandise?

Yes. Cyan sources branded merchandise from a catalogue of around 1,700 products and builds the custom packaging around what goes inside it.

Does Cyan produce packaging prototypes?

Yes. Structure, board and insert fit are developed and prototyped before production so the pack is proven against the actual product.

Can Cyan pack and fulfil completed campaign kits?

Yes. Packs can be assembled and kitted with merchandise and printed inserts, then held in UK storage until they are called off.

Can Cyan deliver packaging and campaign packs to multiple locations?

Yes. Distribution can run to a single address, to multiple sites and teams, or internationally.

Do clients supply their own artwork?

Yes. Clients supply the brand artwork and Cyan manages the production, finishing, packing and delivery around it.

Does Cyan produce packaging for pharmaceutical and regulated sectors?

Cyan has experience producing bespoke packaging solutions for pharmaceutical clients while working within the ABPI Code.

Can Cyan produce more sustainable packaging?

Yes. Materials are specified per project, and board and paper options include FSC-certified material through certified supply chains where a project requires it (FSC licence C004309). Cyan also operates an ISO 14001 environmental management system across its production.

What is the difference between FSC-certified, recycled and recyclable packaging?

FSC certification means the forest-based material is responsibly sourced and traceable; it does not mean the material is recycled. Recycled packaging is made from recovered material, while recyclable packaging can be reprocessed after use. A pack can be one, two or all three — the right combination depends on the product and the brief.

Can packaging be produced without plastic?

Board-based formats such as cartons, presentation boxes, sleeves and wraps can be specified without plastic components in many cases. Where a product needs protection that usually relies on plastic, paper-based alternatives can be explored during development and prototyping.

Does more sustainable packaging cost more?

It depends on the material, format, finish and quantity rather than the label. Certified and recycled boards are available at a range of price points, and Cyan quotes each project on its actual specification — so the cost difference is answered with real numbers, not a rule of thumb.
